Friends forever

After a week of being pampered by Rico and taught by Kyss I decided to go home. I have not called or stopped by since I had been with him. I knew that it wasn’t the best thing to do even though my mother probably wouldn’t have never said anything. I made sure I put on my best allowing my mother to see that I was going to be just fine regardless if she was going to help me or not. My Bebe dress curved out with all my curves and my Giuseppe Pumps strided with my hips. My hair was curled tight and my makeup was put on light.

I put my key into my door and turned the knob just to see my mother sitting on the same nasty ass couch. I almost forgot how bad my life really was before I met Rico. After spending time at Rico’s place and then walking into mines it looked twice as bad. It looked so bad that when I walked up to my mother I didn’t even want to sit on the couch. I was afraid that my dress may get dirty or inherit some foul odor. I had brought my mother a gift. It was a Ralph Lauren dress and some princess cut diamond earrings. I picked up a towel that was laying on the floor and placed it on the couch before I sat down. I really didn’t even know the point of this visit. I wasn’t going to get far with my mother. I sat there for a moment. I had to get myself together before beginning to speak. I wanted to get my words in order before they even left my mouth. It’s like I was scared to speak. I was scared to breathe. I’ve been dying to talk ever since my father left. There were nights when I was younger and I would cry laying under my mother dying for her to say something, anything. Not truly understanding why she wouldn’t speak to me. Blaming myself thinking I was the problem and I did something wrong. At this moment I felt like choking the words out of her. I wanted to say “Momma are you there?” Even though her presence was right in front of my face. I thought maybe her soul ran away from the odor that lies in this house. I wanted to look my mother in her eyes and hoped she would look right back into mines and see that my eyes told the same story as hers and that I was only just her reflection. Then I grabbed her arm and then grabbed her chin forcing her head to turn in look at me and still nothing came out of my mouth. I knew she could read my eyes as a single tear fell out of my left one and in my head I spoke to her.

“Momma if you can hear me in there know that you wasn’t the only person who lost something the day daddy left.
